1. The service

followDM is a personal Library that saves the links you receive (DMLinks), for example on Instagram, and sorts them by topic. It also shows a ranking of the DMLinks many people save.
Basic features are free, and some features are offered through the paid subscription followDM Plus (section 7-2).

2. Relationship with Instagram

followDM is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Instagram or Meta. Instagram is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.
followDM never signs in to Instagram accounts or accesses Instagram automatically.

3. Who can use followDM

You must be at least 18 years old.
You sign in with a method offered in the app or on the web (such as Google). Rankings can be viewed without signing in.

4. Saving and the ranking

followDM does not copy the content you save; it only links to its address. Titles and descriptions are taken from the page automatically.
Only you can see your Library, topics and memos. DMLinks saved by many people may appear in the public ranking, which shows only totals, never who saved what.
However, if you turn on link sharing for one of your folders, anyone with the link can see the folder name and the titles and links of the DMLinks in it without signing in. Turning sharing off closes the link right away.
Whoever can edit a DMLink (its owner) can remove it from the ranking with a verification code. YouTube and TikTok DMLinks do not use verification codes; to remove one from the ranking, email support@followdm.app.
The ranking is decided automatically by the principles published in Help in the app; exact figures are not published, to prevent gaming. If abuse or an error is found, we may remove a DMLink from the ranking or correct it.

5. What you must not do

Manipulate the ranking, for example with multiple accounts or automation
Save or advertise spam, scams, or illegal or harmful content
Spread other people's private documents or personal information
Pass off someone else's content as your own, or disrupt the service
Getting free credits (credits the operator gives without charge, section 7) by improper means (fake accounts, automation, several accounts on the same device and the like). If confirmed, the free credits are taken back.

6. Reports and suspension

Based on reports or automatic detection, a DMLink or ad may be temporarily removed from the ranking or ads; the operator then reviews it and decides to restore it, keep it removed or ban it permanently. You can ask for the reason at support@followdm.app.
The owner of a permanently banned DMLink or ad can request one review.
If a DMLink or ad infringes copyright, privacy or other rights, tell us with the Report button or at support@followdm.app. If confirmed, we remove it from the ranking or ads.

7. Ads and credits

You must be 19 or older and an adult under the laws of your country of residence to buy credits.
Credits can only be bought through in-app purchase.
You can cancel (get a refund for) unused credits within 7 days of purchase. For Google Play purchases, email support@followdm.app; for App Store purchases, ask Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com).
If a store refunds a purchase, those credits are removed from your balance; if your remaining credits are not enough, running ads may stop.
Credits already used for ad impressions are generally not refunded. However, where the law or the app store's policy requires a refund or cancellation, we follow it.
If a minor pays without a legal guardian's consent, the minor or the guardian can cancel the purchase.
Credits are used only for ad impressions. If you stop an ad, or it is banned after reports, credits for the remaining impressions are returned.
Free credits: credits the operator gives without charge. For each person who comes through your link copied in Me and, within 30 days, signs up as a new user and makes a first save, you receive 1 credit free on the 1st of the next month (the link owner's local date). The person who comes in receives nothing.
Free credits are used before purchased credits and disappear 90 days after you receive them. They cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash, and store refunds do not apply to them.
The terms for free credits may change; we announce changes in the app and on the website before they take effect.
Advertisers are responsible for their ad text and the linked post, video or DMLink.

7-2. followDM Plus

followDM Plus is available only through in-app store subscriptions (Google Play; the App Store will be added later). There is no payment on the web.
The price is the amount shown on the subscription screen, and you choose a monthly or yearly period. First-time subscribers may get a 7-day free trial; when it ends you are charged the plan you chose.
The subscription renews automatically for the same period until you cancel. Cancel in your store's subscription settings (Google Play › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions); you keep Plus until the end of the period you paid for. Cancelling during the trial means you are not charged.
Refunds follow the policy of the store you paid through and applicable law.
When the subscription ends, only the Plus features stop. Your saved DMLinks, folders and memos are not deleted; anything beyond the free limits stays visible but cannot be added to (for example, memos stay visible and can be deleted but not written). Items in the Trash are deleted after the free retention period.
The features Plus unlocks and the free limits are shown on the Plus screen in the app. We announce changes in the app and on the website in advance.
Only people aged 19 or older who are adults in their country of residence can subscribe (same as buying credits).

8. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time in Me → Delete account in the app, or on the web (followdm.app). Your Library, topics, folders, memos and other personal data are deleted right away.
You can ask for a refund of unused purchased credits before deleting your account. If you delete without asking, your remaining credits are lost and cannot be restored. Running ads are stopped.
Free credits are lost when you delete your account and are not refunded.
Deleting your account does not cancel a followDM Plus subscription in the store. Cancel it in your store's subscription settings before deleting your account.

9. Changes and liability

Features may change or stop. We announce important changes in the app and on the web.
If we end the service, we announce it 30 days in advance and refund unused purchased credits.
Owners are responsible for the content, accuracy and availability of their DMLinks. followDM is provided as is and, to the extent the law allows, is not liable for indirect damages, except for damage caused by followDM's intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
This section does not limit any rights you have under applicable law.

10. Changes to these Terms of Service

We announce changes to these Terms of Service in the app and on the web 7 days before they take effect. Changes that are unfavorable to you are announced 30 days before, and we also tell you by email or app notification.
If you keep using followDM without objecting before the effective date, you accept the changes. If you do not agree, you can delete your account.

11. Governing law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes are handled by the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act (Korea).
